The self-drive car sharing company Zoomcar, has introduced its inaugural Fulfillment Center in Chennai, with ambitious plans to deploy more than 1,000 cars by December 2024. These Fulfillment Centers are operated by trained third-party service providers under Zoomcar’s guidance. Aimed at enhancing guest experiences, these centers handle all aspects of car listings for hosts who wish to profit from sharing their vehicles but face difficulties managing the process themselves.
Top Zoomcar Hosts who earn up to Rs 60,000 per month with a single vehicle typically excel due to a 4.5+ rating, strategic availability in high-demand locations, and owning a desirable car model. For a nominal fee, Hosts benefit from comprehensive services including car management, regular cleaning, secure parking in prime locations, car delivery and pickup for Guests and service centers, direct coordination with Guests, and more.
Cars managed through the Fulfillment Center are labeled as “Assured by Zoomcar” on the Zoomcar app, providing Guests with dependable booking options and 24/7 pick-up and drop-off services. In a recent pilot program in Chennai, the results have been promising, with more than 20 Hosts expressing interest in listing their vehicles shortly after launch and each car receiving an average of 3 bookings within the first 24 hours of being listed.

With our decade long experience we wanted to extend our expertise to Hosts to simplify car sharing for them and help manage their cars without any operational hustle. With the new unified app, Zoomcar Hosts will have greater control over managing their microbusiness. They can oversee multiple vehicles from a single tab, “Your Cars,” and monitor their car’s ranking in real time to stay informed about the competition from other Hosts in their area. Additionally, Hosts will have the flexibility to set a minimum booking duration, opt out of late-night bookings, and enable automatic listing extensions to prevent their listings from expiring. New Hosts can also choose to install a GPS tracker and keyless entry device immediately after signing up on the app.
