Ahmedabad: A Zomato delivery agent’s brave act caught the attention of the internet. A video captured the agent braving through a flooded street to deliver food. Netizens lauded his determination and stated that he deserved an award.

The video of the delivery agent was shared on X by a user named Vikunj Shah. The user urged the food delivery company to acknowledge the man’s dedication. In the video, the delivery agent was seen wading through knee-deep water to complete his delivery duties. The clip garnered several reactions. One said, “@zomato This person who works with his hard work and dedication should be rewarded like this from the company.”

A second person stated, “This is an individual effort. Zomato should not take any credit considering its history of behaviour with partners.” A third person commented, “Excellent job and well done by Zomato delivery partner.”

Meanwhile, some criticised the people who placed the order. “Much appreciated for taking rescue. Whoever has ordered knows the rescue involved, so why order in the first place….,” commented one netizen.
