Visit world’s 2nd largest Gem & Jewellery Show in Mumbai

The India International Jewellery Show is stated to be the 2nd largest Business to Business Jewellery Fair in the world. The Governor released the Pocket Guide to IIJS 2024 on the occasion.

Today India has created many indigenous brands in the gem jewellery industry. However, after this, the Governor appealed to the entrepreneurs to create an international brand of India in the gemstone jewellery sector by emphasising on innovation, research and skill development of artists. The governor said that as the chancellor of 28 universities in the state, he is appealing to the Gemstone Jewelry Export Promotion Council to work with the universities to make the students stakeholders in the gemstone jewellery sector.

According to the organisers, India International Jewellery Show has emerged as the 2nd largest Business to Business Jewellery Fair in the world, showcasing Diamond, Gold, Platinum, and Silver Jewellery along with loose Natural Diamonds, Gemstones, and Lab-grown diamonds.

President of the Council Vipul Shah informed that 50000 traders and sellers, 2100 exhibitors and 3600 stalls from 60 countries of the world are participating in the exhibition.
