New Delhi: The principal of a primary school in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut has been arrested for allegedly forcing a Hindu student to eat meat in mid-day meal, while, Basic Shiksha Adhikari has suspended him.
Twenty students in school
The school situated in Meerut’s Vaidhwada area has around 20 students. On Monday, only six students came to school.

Investigation handed over to BEO
The principal claimed innocence saying he had no information about it.
The investigation in the case has been handed over to Block Education Officer Pradeep. Further action will be taken once the investigation is completed.
