UP is going to get the gift of another Vande Bharat train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off this new Vande Bharat train on August 31. This train will run between Meerut and Lucknow. In this regard, on Wednesday, Delhi Railway Division’s ADRM Vikram Singh Rana reached Meerut City Station with his team and closely inspected the preparations. He finalized the place of the screen and stage etc. to be set up for the virtual program and gave guidelines to the railway officials. Rana informed that the inauguration program of Vande Bharat has been organized by the Railways at 12:30 pm on August 31.
School students will travel by train on the first day
Rana said that children from four schools of the city, Diwan Public School, Darshan Academy, Rishabh Academy and Lord Krishna Inter College Madhavpuram will travel in the train. These children will be taken from Meerut to Moradabad and from there they will be brought back by bus. In Moradabad, students of Moradabad will be taken to Bareilly. After Nauchandi and Rajyarani Express, this will be the third train to pass through Moradabad division. Permission has been granted for its operation between Meerut and Lucknow. The train will reach Lucknow via Hapur-Moradabad-Bareilly. It will be operated on the same route as Rajyarani Express.
Will reach Lucknow within 7 hours 10 minutes
Vande Bharat will reach Lucknow from Meerut in just 7 hours and 10 minutes. However, the official time schedule of the train has not been released yet. But according to railway sources, this train will leave from Meerut at 6:35 am and will reach Lucknow at 1:45 pm. Rajyarani Express also leaves from Meerut City Station at 6:40 am. In such a situation, the running of two trains to Lucknow within five minutes is not acceptable to anyone. Railway officials also say that there may be a change in the time. The schedule of the train will be released soon.
