Two security guards arrested for ‘assaulting’ doctors, nursing staff at Kolkata hospital – India News
Two security guards were arrested on Saturday for allegedly attacking doctors and hospital staff in the Cossipore area.
Police said the guards were likely drunk when the incident took place.

According to an officer from Cossipore Police Station, “The matter is being investigated. We arrested them after receiving a complaint from the hospital authorities.”
A senior official at the hospital claimed that the guards had also threatened him with dire consequences.

“The two guards were intoxicated and assaulted the doctors and hospital staff. They have done this earlier, too, and we had complained to the health department in this regard,” he said.
He mentioned that the hospital currently employs 11 security guards.
