Prabhudayal Valmiki, a two-time Samajwadi Party MLA from Meerut’s Hastinapur seat, passed the UP Board’s 12th examination at the age of 59. In the result declared on Tuesday, he has passed this examination in second class.

Prabhudayal Valmiki, who was the Minister of State for the silk industry of the state, says that he was 10th pass. This year, he appeared for the Inter examination from Adarsh ​​Inter College, Johri, Baghpat. In the results that came on Tuesday, he passed in the second division. Prabhudayal said that he had resumed his studies with the inspiration of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. He said that there is no age for studies.

On the other hand, Rajesh Mishra alias Pappu Bharataul, former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Bareilly’s Bithri-Chainpur assembly seat, passed the 12th class examination of the Uttar Pradesh Board at the age of 55. Rajesh is now planning to pursue graduation in law (LLB). Rajesh, who was the BJP MLA from Bithri Chainpur from 2017 to 2022, said in a conversation with ‘PTI-Bhasha’ on Wednesday, ‘Two years ago I passed the class 10 examination. Now I have passed the 12th exam also. Now, I want to do LLB, so that I can help poor people to get justice.

However, Rajesh, who scored 263 out of 500, was not satisfied with the marks he got in three subjects. He said, ‘I am not satisfied with the marks obtained in Drawing Design, Civics and Education subjects and will get the answer sheets checked, so that if there is any mistake in adding the marks, it can be rectified.’ Rajesh scored 57 in Hindi, 47 in Civics, 42 in Education, 36 in Drawing Design and 81 in Sociology.

When asked about the need for LLB preparation, Rajesh said, “When I was an MLA, I realized that justice is denied to the economically weaker sections of the society, as poor people cannot afford the services of a good lawyer. Can’t take advantage of. I will be the advocate of such people.
