About 30 to 40 people suddenly entered and during that time the police disappeared from the spot. It seemed as if this was pre-planned and that is why the police disappeared. The doctors somehow saved themselves and many people even hid in the toilet. These people had come to destroy the crime scene so that the investigation could be influenced, but they could not reach there. Apart from this, the intention of those rioters was to end the protest and for this they were scaring people.’

Doctor Goswami said that the attackers had no fear. They also attacked the CCTV storage room. Their intention was to create such a ruckus that the police had to impose Section 144 and then stop the protest that the doctors were doing.
