Actor Vijay and president of Tamizhaga vettri kazhgam unveiled his new party flag during the unveiling ceremony at his party office in panaiyur.

Chennai: Popular Tamil Actor and founder leader Tamil Nadu based political party- Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay unveiled the party’s flag at the party office in Chennai on Thursday, August 22. TVK president Vijay introduced his party flag at the party’s HQ in Chennai.

TVK  flag symbol meaning

The two coloured flag has red on top and bottom, yellow in the middle with two fighting elephants & Vaagai flower. Warriors of ancient Tamil kingdoms wore Vaagai flower garlands to symbolize victory. Actor-Politician Vijay introduced a flag for his party among the functionaries at the event in party headquarters.

“Let’s work together for the development of Tamil Nadu and Tamil people” – Vijay

“I’m very happy to see my parents here. Thank you mom and dad,” says Vijay. We have worked for us so far. Henceforth, let’s work together for the development of Tamil Nadu and Tamil people, Actor Vijay said after launching his party flag.

He also added that plans are underway for the first political gathering of TVK, date will be announced soon. “I’ll reveal more about the meaning behind the flag and the party’s ideology in the political gathering,” he said.

TVK anthem

Actor Vijay’s TVK party’s anthem was composed by popular music director Thaman and penned by lyricist Vivek. The party summed up Vijaya’s ideology in these lines.
