Despite Khushboo’s marriage to Rajesh and having a two-year-old daughter, she continued her relationship with Chandan through phone calls and secret meetings. 

In an unusual turn of events, a husband in Bihar’s Lakhisarai area facilitated the marriage between his wife and her lover with the assistance of local villagers. Khushboo, a resident of Ramnagar in the Amhara police station area, had been in a relationship with Chandan Kumar from their childhood. Despite Khushboo’s marriage to Rajesh three years ago and having a two-year-old daughter, she continued her relationship with Chandan through phone calls and secret meetings.

On the evening of the incident, Chandan visited Khushboo’s home. Rajesh, upon discovering the situation, decided to act. With the help of villagers, Rajesh arranged a marriage ceremony between Khushboo and Chandan. Chandan expressed his joy, stating that it was childhood love between the two. Even after marriage, we kept in touch and met secretly and today, my childhood love and I are married, thanks to her husband, he stated.

Khushboo expressed mixed emotions, noting her sadness at being separated from her child. My husband saw us together and decided he would not keep me. Despite my efforts to reconcile, he insisted on this arrangement, she stated.

Rajesh justified his actions, saying that both Khushboo and Chandan wanted to be together and he supported their decision so they could live their lives as they wished and find happiness. After bringing Khushboo home following the marriage, Rajesh discovered her talking to her lover, even on our wedding night.

She would speak with him secretly at all hours, claiming she was talking to her parents whenever I asked, Rajesh said, adding that in his frustration, he even broke four mobile phones. Now, I believe it’s best for them to go and settle down together, he further added.

Chandan reflected on their long-standing affection, said that Khushboo and he loved each other since childhood. Despite her parents’ objections, their bond remained strong and with Rajesh’s decision, they were finally abled to get married.
