New Delhi: After spending six long years with Kolkata Knight Riders, Rinku Singh has revealed his plans to join the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the upcoming mega auction ahead of the 2025 IPL. In a recent interview with Sports Tak media, Rinku hinted at a possible move from KKR to RCB. This has raised the eyebrows of each person who had seen Rinku as an integral part of the Knight’s set-up.
In his interview, Rinku said “Abhi toh kuch pta nhi. Abhi kuch btaya ni ki retention hoga ya auction mein jana hoga. Abb dekhte hai kya hota hai aagey.”

Virat Kohli and Rinku Singh share a very close and cordial relationship which was seen during the practice session in a match between KKR and RCB. Kohli was seen giving his bat to Rinku after he returned from a practice session. What people don’t know is that Rinku had broken the first bat which was presented by Kohli.
Subsequently, the young left-hander asked Virat for a second bat. Without any hesitation, Kohli offered him his second bat to him. This particular incident had left a deep imprint on Rinku who had remarked after the incident, “Unhone mana ni kari, dusri bat bhi de di…”
Rinku’s performance in the IPL 2024 has been hot and cold. He was part of the winning team that won the trophy in 2024.
