UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is constantly attacking people’s silence on the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh. CM Yogi is targeting the opposition over this. Meanwhile, anger is also growing among Hindu organizations. In such a situation, a one-day bandh has been declared in Meerut. An appeal has been made to keep schools closed as well. People of Hindu organizations will take out a march on foot from Mangal Pandey Chowk Budhana Gate to the Collectorate on Friday. For this, representatives of various Hindu organizations and business organizations kept doing public relations and appeals throughout the day.

On the call of Hindu and business organizations, Meerut will remain closed till 1 pm. For this, the officials of both the United Trade Unions of Meerut have appealed to the traders and businessmen to keep the market closed. United Trade Union President Ajay Gupta, General Secretary Sardar Daljit Singh, Treasurer Pawan Mittal, Senior Vice President Kamal Thakur, Lalit Gupta Amul, Ankur Goyal, Gajendra Sharma and the entire team appealed to the traders and shopkeepers to make the proposed symbolic bandh on Friday a success by coming out at the time of flag hoisting in the markets.

Similarly, the entire team of the United Trade Union including President Naveen Gupta, General Secretary Sanjay Jain, Minister Lallu Makkar, Vikas Girdhar appealed to the officials of all the markets on the Shera to keep the market closed till 1 pm in protest against the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh. People from various Hindu organizations as well as business organizations have also appealed to traders, doctors, petrol pumps as well as schools to keep them closed.

Along with this, an appeal has been made that the traders should close their establishments and shops and reach Mangal Pandey Chowk Budhana Gate at ten in the morning. From here all the traders and people from various Hindu organizations will take out a march on foot and reach the Collectorate via the Commissionerate and submit a memorandum to the Prime Minister and the President in protest against the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh and will demand intervention and protection of Hindus in Bangladesh or their safe evacuation from there.

Business leaders Vikas Girdhar and Apaar Mehra made public contact with shopkeepers to keep the markets around Hapur Adda square closed. Business leaders also appealed to the traders by sending messages via WhatsApp to make the shutdown successful.

From doctors’ clinics to petrol pumps and schools will also remain closed: With the symbolic bandh getting the support of both the factions of the United Trade Union, it is being claimed that this will be a historic bandh in the city. Along with doctors’ clinics, petrol pumps, Sarafa Mandi, all the markets of the city, fruit and vegetable markets, Vidya Bharti schools will also remain closed. Business leaders have also sent messages via WhatsApp to the traders to make the bandh successful and appealed to them.
