Project positions at SAMEER Kolkata

Centre for Millimeter Wave Research, Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMEER), R & D Laboratory of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India; Plot – L2, Block – GP, Sector-V, Salt Lake Electronics Complex, Kolkata – 700091, has invited applications for various Project positions at the Centre.

The positions, vacancies and eligibility are as follows:

(i) Research Scientist (21 positions): B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or M.Sc. (Electronics) from a recognized university / institution with minimum 55% marks. Those who have appeared in their final semester of their graduation can also apply. However, he/she must possess Essential Qualification at the time of joining.

(ii) Project Assistant (11): Diploma in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent (3 Years course) from a recognised technical board with minimum 55% marks.

(iii) Project Technician (8): Diploma in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent (3 Years course) from a recognised technical board with minimum 55% marks or ITI in relevant trade from recognised institution/ Technical board and should have completed NCVT with minimum 55% (depending on the position).

(iv) Project Management Assistant (3): Graduate in BA/ B.Sc/ BBA/ BMS / B.Com discipline with 3 years of relevant experience or fresh MBA or Graduate in BA/ B.Sc/ BBA/ BMS / B.Com discipline with 8 years of relevant experience or MBA with 5 years of relevant experience depending on the positions.
