Now, the President of India Draupadi Murmu has also given a strong statement in this matter. President Draupadi Murmu has said that she is disappointed and horrified by this incident. The President has made a strong comment on the matter and said that enough is enough. She said that she is distressed over crimes against women.
Society should ask itself tough questions- President Murmu
On crimes against women, President Murmu has said that society needs ‘honest, unbiased introspection’ and needs to ask itself some tough questions. The President has said that no civilized society can allow such atrocities on daughters and sisters.

The President said that societies afraid to face history resort to collective amnesia; now the time has come for India to face history. The President said that we must deal with this distortion in a comprehensive manner so that it can be nipped in the bud.
