New Delhi: Bigg Boss OTT season 2 winner Elvish Yadav has landed in trouble once again. A police complaint has reportedly been filed against the 26-year-old controversial YouTuber for allegedly clicking pictures inside the Kashi Vishwanath temple complex in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

According to timesnownews.com, citing reports, the complaint was filed by a Varanasi sessions court advocate named Prateek Kumar Singh. It is being said that the complainant has raised questions against authorities for being biased towards Elvish.

The media outlet further stated that the advocate submitted the letter to the Joint Commissioner of Police, Dr KA Jilerson, in the absence of the Police Commissioner. Further details on the matter are awaited.

Elvish appears before ED

In a separate money laundering case linked to the suspected use of snake venom as a recreational drug, Elvish on Tuesday (July 23, 2024) appeared before the Enforcement Directorate in Lucknow for questioning. The case was registered in May 2024 regarding the parties he allegedly hosted and related financial transactions.

Charges were pressed against him by the central agency under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) after taking cognisance of an FIR and charge sheet filed against him and others by Uttar Pradesh’s Noida (Gautam Buddh Nagar) district police.

For the unversed, Elvish and five others were named in an FIR lodged at Noida’s Sector 49 police station on November 3, 2023. The action was taken after a complaint from a representative of animal rights NGO People for Animals (PFA). All the other accused were snake charmers. They were arrested by the police but later released on bail by a local court.
