Odisha Effects Major Reshuffle In IAS Cadre, 20 Districts Get New Collectors | Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Government of Odisha on Wednesday affected a major reshuffle in the postings of IAS officials in the state. A total of 25 IAS officials have been reassigned their duties via a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department of the government on Wednesday late evening.

As many as 20 districts of Odisha now have new District Collectors.

Dr. Bijay Ketan Upadhyaya, a 2009-batch IAS officer, who was serving as the Secretary, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack, has been appointed as Director, Odia Language, Literature & Culture. The post of Director, Odia Language, Literature & Culture is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary provided in the IAS Cadre of the State. He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Director, Odisha Paribar.

Ashish Thakare, a 2011-batch IAS official who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Balasore has been appointed as Secretary, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack.

Similarly, Dilip Routrai, another 2011-batch IAS who was serving as the Director, Odia Language, Literature & Culture with the additional charge of Director, Odisha Paribar, has been appointed as Collector & DM, Bhadrak.

Kamal Lochan Mishra, a 2011-batch IAS officer, who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Nabarangpur has been appointed as Executive Director, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority.

The post of Executive Director, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary provided in the IAS cadre of the state.

Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, a 2012-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Jajpur, has been appointed Director, Soil Conservation and Watershed Development, 0disha, Bhubaneswar. The post of Director, Soil Conservation and Watershed Development, Odisha, is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary provided in the IAS cadre of the state,

Bijay Kumar Dash, a 2012-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Commissioner, Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) with additional charge of Vice Chairman, Cuttack Development Authority, has been appointed as Collector & DM, Gajapati.

Smruti Ranjan Pradhan, a 2012-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Gajapati has been appointed as Collector & DM, Kendrapara. Similarly, Swadha Dev Singh, a 2014-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Nayagarh, has been appointed as the Additional Secretary to Government, PR & DW Department.

Ms Parul Patawari, a 2015-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the State Project Director, OSEPA, with the additional charge of Member Secretary, Mo School, has been appointed as the Collector & DM, Rayagada. Amrit Ruturaj, a 2015-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Dhenkanal, has been appointed as Collector & DM, Kandhamal. Siddeshwar Baliram Bondar, a 2016-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Collector & DM, of Bhadrak has been appointed as the Collector & DM of Sambalpur. Similarly, Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde, a 2016-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Mayurbhanj, has been appointed as Collector & DM, Cuttack.

Hema Kanta Say, a 2017-bath IAS officer who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Nuapada has been appointed as the Collector & DM, Mayurbhanj. P. Anvesha Reddy, a 2017-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Kalahandi, has been appointed as Collector & DM, Jajpur.

Dr. Subhankar Mohapatra, a 2018-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Director, Rural Development has been appointed as Collector & DM, Nabarangpur. Suryawanshi Mayur Vikas, a 2018-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Kendrapara, has been appointed as Collector & DM, Balasore.

J Sonal, a 2018-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Boudh has been appointed as Collector & DM, Jagatsinghpur, and Pawar Sachin Prakash, a 2019-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Malkangiri, has been appointed as Collector & DM, Kalahandi.

Akshay Sunil Agrawal, a 2019-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Sambalpur has been appointed as Collector & DM, Nayagarh. Manoj Satyawan Mahajan, another 2019-batch IAS officer who has been serving as the Collector & DM, Rayagada, has been appointed as Collector & DM, Sundargarh.

Kabindra Kumar Sahu, OAS (SS), who has been serving as the Executive Director (Land), Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd. has been transferred and posted as Collector & DM, Deogarh, while Madhusudan Dash, OAS (SS), who has been serving as the Special Secretary to Government, Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department has been transferred and posted as Collector & DM, Nuapada.

Subrat Kumar Panda, OAS (SS), Special Secretary to Government, Rural Development Department has been transferred and posted as Collector & DM, Boudh.
