All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ₹500,000 (~$5,971).
The selected bidder must furnish a performance bank guarantee of 10% of the contract price within 28 days of award notification.
NVVN plans to finance this package through external commercial borrowings, domestic commercial borrowings, or its own sources.

Bidders are responsible for assessing the site conditions before submitting their bids, and no additional claims will be entertained.
Only class I and class II local suppliers are eligible to bid. Bidders from a country that shares a land border with India can submit bids.
The installer must use 540 Wp modules, which are included in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers notified by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. The modules should have an efficiency of 21% and carry a five-year warranty.
Modules used must be warranted for their output peak watt capacity, which should not be less than 90% at the end of ten years and 80% at the end of 25 years.
Recently, NVVN invited bids from empaneled contractors to install 1,562 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar power projects in Telangana for the Indian Council of Medical Research.
Earlier, NVVN invited bids to set up 1.3 MW of rooftop solar power projects across three locations in two campuses of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and the National Institute of Defence Estates Management in Delhi.
