The most outstanding aspect is that these vegetables were grown from grey water or waste water. In this village, you will not find household water collected anywhere in the streets. This is because the water that is used in kitchen does not go out of the house.

This village has also won the hearts of the officials of Parikshitgarh block in Meerut. The ADO said that such a village certainly sets an example for the entire society.

In Sikandarpur village, drains are almost non-existent. This is because not even a single drop of water can go outside the house. Women have set an example of self-reliance by growing vegetables at their home.
