NIRF Ranking 2024: The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2024) ranking has been released. As per the NIRF rankings 2024, these are the top 10 universities in India. The NIRF Ranking top university list is also available on the official website- www.nirfindia.org/Rankings/2024/UniversityRanking.html.
The NIRF ranking was released on overall best institutions, universities, top colleges, engineering, medical, management, dental, law, other categories. Last year, Indian Institute of Science topped the varsity chart followed by Jawaharlal Nehru University and Jamia Millia Islamia.

The top colleges are- Miranda House (Rank 1), Hindu College (Rank 2) and Presidency College (Rank 3) and best engineering colleges are- IIT Madras (AIR 1), IIT Delhi (AIR 2), IIT Bombay (AIR 3). The best medical institutes are- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi) (Rank 1), Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER Chandigarh) (Rank 2) and Christian Medical College Vellore (Rank 3)
NIRF ranking was first published on April 4, 2016 and the parameters to rank the institutes broadly covers Teaching, Learning and Resources, Research and Professional Practices, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach and Inclusivity, and Perception.
