NIRF Rankings 2024: The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2024) ranking will be announced on August 12. As per the NIRF website, India Rankings 2024 will be released on August 12 at 3 pm. The NIRF ranking will have list of India’s best education institutes, universities, colleges, research institutions and stream-wise top institutes. The India Ranking 2024 will be released on 13 different categories.

As the NIRF ranking 2024 will be released next Monday, students, teachers, alumni of the country’s top institutes are expecting their colleges to bag the top spot in the India Rankings 2024. Last year, the Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT Madras) became the top institute in the NIRF ranking, and the engineering institute retained the top spot in overall category for the last 5 years. Followed by IIT Madras, IISc Bengaluru, IIT Delhi bagged the second and third spot in the overall category.

University-wise, IISc Bengaluru was the top institute last year followed by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Jamia Millia Islamia and Jadavpur University. The best colleges are- Miranda House, Hindu College, Presidency College. The top engineering colleges last year were IIT Madras (Rank 1), IIT Delhi (Rank 2), IIT Bombay (Rank 3). In medical, the top institutes are- AIIMS Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh, CMC Vellore.

The NIRF ranking was launched on September 29, 2015. The framework follows parameters to rank the institutes which broadly covers- Teaching, Learning and Resources, Research and Professional Practices, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach and Inclusivity, and Perception. The NIRF ranking was first published on April 4, 2016.
