Bhubaneswar:  The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), currently investigating the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) paper leak case, has made another arrest related to the scam from Bhubaneswar on Saturday.

The accused has been identified as Susanta Samanta (34).

Reports indicate that the CBI presented Samanta to the Executive Magistrate’s CBI Court and secured a five-day remand for the accused. Although the CBI sought a 10-day remand for Samanta, the court permitted only a five-day remand on Monday.

Notably, the NEET question paper leak was initially detected by the Patna Police on May 5 of this year. Following a preliminary investigation by Bihar Police’s Economic Offences Unit (EOU), the case was handed over to the CBI.
