Kohima, Aug 9: The Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) is set to launch a nationwide two-month-long Intensified Information, Education Communication (IEC) campaign across the districts from August 12, coinciding with International Youth Day.

Addressing media persons in Kohima today, NSACS Project Director Dr. Ahu Sekhose said the campaign aims to enhance knowledge levels and equip the masses with information about HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). The campaign will cover all districts of Nagaland and will be launched at the NBCC Convention Centre in Kohima.

The initiative seeks to reach all areas of the state, especially the youth, to educate them about HIV and STIs. This campaign is part of NSACS’ ongoing efforts to prevent the spread of HIV and promote awareness about the disease.
