Nagaland DoSE officials to visit Australia

Kohima, July 24 (MExN): Officials from the Department of School Education, Nagaland will be visiting Australia this year in September for a government level discussion and field study, informed a press release received here. 

It stated that the Advisor for School Education and School Council of Educational Research & Training, Nagaland, Dr Kekhrie Yhome called on Dr Monica Kennedy, Head of Austrade and Neha Grover, Senior Director, Trade and Investment (Education), Government of Australia, at New Delhi on July 24 “to discuss cooperation in vocational education and vocational curriculum development.” The Advisor was accompanied by Kedi Kense, Laison Officer, Government of Nagaland.

The press release stated that with Australia being a leading country in vocational education and the youth in Nagaland having huge potential for the ever increasing demand gap in service sector in developed countries, officials from the DoSE Nagaland will Australia in September for a government level discussion and field study.
