Indian Railways’ Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project has garnered a lot of attention and excitement from the citizens. The Railway Ministry also shares regular updates on the project, fuelling people’s interest in it.

Giving out another progress update on the project today, the ministry posted a picture of a bridge over the Gorwa-Madhunagar Flyover in Vadodara on X.

The bridge over the Gorwa-Madhunagar Flyover in Vadodara is a part of the Bullet Train project and has been completed, it said.

The ministry also shared an image of the train tracks laid down as part of the project passing through lush foliage in Bilimora, Gujarat.

Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project: Significant updates

Earlier this month, the Ministry of Railways had announced some significant updates regarding the project. According to the latest update from the Rail Ministry on social media, key construction phases are making significant progress, moving the project closer to completion.

In case of land acquisition, he project has successfully secured 100% of the required land, totaling 1,390 hectares. This critical milestone ensures that construction can move forward without any delays due to land disputes. Besides this, the installation of girders has progressed to 200 kilometers, further solidifying the structural integrity of the route.

The casting of girders, crucial for supporting the railway tracks, has now extended to 231 kilometers.
