Supreme Court recently reserved its verdict on Balaji’s bail plea

The Supreme Court recently reserved its verdict on a bail plea by Balaji, who moved the top court against the Madras High Court order refusing to grant him bail in the case.

The counsel representing the former Tamil Nadu minister, while urging the apex court to grant Balaji bail in the money laundering case, submitted before the court that he is in jail for over a year and there is no prospect of the trial in the case getting completed anytime soon.
