SRINAGAR: A man from Arunachal Pradesh was brought back by police from Kashmir. The man identified as Kangge Perme, was found at Budgam in Kashmir.

Media reports said that a team of East Siang police started tracing him after a missing report was filed by his father at Mebo police station on July 23.

East Siang SP said Perme last talked to his family on July 13 and told them he was in Delhi looking for a job.

The police officer said they collected ATM transaction and call detail records of the missing person.

However, his phone location could not be traced as his mobile was switched off.

Perme’s last ATM transaction was at an ATM booth near New Delhi railway station. A police team questioned his friends and verified persons on his call records, but found no information about his whereabouts.

On August 17, Perme called his family from an unknown number, saying he was in Kashmir but couldn’t provide his exact address. The Budgam police in Kashmir were informed to recover Perme.

A police team went to Budgam and brought Perme back to Arunachal, handing him over to his father.
