‘Kill’ is currently ‘killing’ it at the box-office! The action thriller is going strong at the BO and has emerged as a surprise box-office success. The movie has crossed Rs 21 crore domestically and earned Rs 24 crore worldwide so far.

The movie also opened to rave reviews and has received praise from critics for powerful performances from the cast and sleek, sophisticated, yet unabashedly violent action sequences.

With the unprecedented success of ‘Kill’, all eyes are now on not only the dishy male lead Lakshya Lalwani but also the director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat.

In an interview with Firstpost, Bhat revealed that a harrowing incident proved to be the inspiration for ‘Kill’. He said that he was robbed in the train while travelling from Patna to Pune and this inspired him to start writing the screenplay for ‘Kill’ in 2016.

While ‘Kill’ is undoubtedly his first major box-office success, Bhat has directed some rather watchable web series and two rather forgettable feature films before striking gold with the action extravaganza.
