The Ahmedabad City District Education Officer’s Office, the Ahmedabad District Co-op Bank Limited and the Ahmedabad City Police have initiated a campaign, ‘Cyber Safe Ahmedabad’, to educate children, parents and educators about cyber security. The programme saw participation from over 550 principals of both grant-in-aid and self-financed schools in Ahmedabad city. Ajay Patel (top right), chairman of Ahmedabad District Co-op Bank, and IPS Ajay Tomar (bottom right) addressed the audience. Rohit Chaudhari, Ahmedabad City DEO, said, “The increasing use of social media among children has heightened the risk of cyber crime. We have initiated ‘Cyber Safe Ahmedabad’ to spread awareness about cyber security.”
