IMD Weather Updates: Red alert in Gujarat over flood risks; Four Telangana districts prepare for heavy rain

Arunachal Pradesh and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands should expect prolonged heavy rains from September 2 to 5, with Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim following on September 4 and 5. In the East, heavy rains are forecast in Bihar on September 4 and Odisha on September 5 and 6.
The IMD has issued orange alerts indicating severe weather conditions, particularly very heavy rains in East Rajasthan on September 7 and 8, while Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, and Uttarakhand should also anticipate significant rainfall. Isolated heavy rains are expected over West Uttar Pradesh on September 4 and East Uttar Pradesh on September 6. West Rajasthan will likely receive significant rainfall from September 4 to 8.
