The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar conducted a tree plantation drive under the ‘Ek ped ma ke naam’ (one tree to your mother’s name) initiative, supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign. Inaugurated by Chief Secretary of Gujarat, Raj Kumar, the event saw over 400 trees planted across the sprawling campus. Professor Rajat Moona, director of IITGn, emphasised the initiative’s role in enhancing campus greenery and achieving the institute’s sustainability goals.
