Indian Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals (IASAP) has announced the successful conclusion of its 18th National Convention held in Kolkata from 22nd to 25th August, 2024 at the prestigious Hotel Vivanta Kolkata EM Bypass. The event, themed “Tilottama@2024: Ahead of the Curve,” was a grand success, attracting attendees from all six Chapters of the Association, with Mumbai as the Head Quarters, as well as some overseas delegates from IASAP affiliates.
The Convention offered a platform for Secretaries and Administrative Professionals to network, learn and share best practices. The event featured engaging speeches from renowned personalities such as Lucy Brazier, Sushweta Chakraborty, Dr. Sonia Mathai, Doma Wang and Amitava Mukherji, providing valuable insights into various aspects of the profession.
One of the highlights of the Convention was the Best Practice Contest, a CSR initiative aimed at empowering underprivileged women and girl child beneficiaries. IASAP’s Pune Chapter emerged victorious in this Contest, demonstrating the Association’s commitment to social responsibility and community development, over and above its main objective of providing invaluable learning and development to Secretaries and Administrative Professionals.
All the Chapters viz. Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune and Tamil Nadu, including Mumbai Head Quarters were also recognised with a Citation Certificate of Participation, further cementing their role in promoting professional excellence with the Association.
The Convention concluded with a city tour and a Bengali lunch at Rajbari Bawali, providing a superb cultural immersion experience for the attendees. The success of the National Convention underscores IASAP’s dedication to enhancing the professional development of secretaries and administrative professionals in India. It also reinforces the Association’s brand identity and visibility, contributing to its corporate recognition.
IASAP looks forward to continuing its mission of fostering professional growth and development in the years to come.
