HPDCAPL organizes workshop on lifestyle management

ITANAGAR, 28 Aug: The Hydro Power Development Corporation of Arunachal Pradesh Limited. (HPDCAPL) organized a one-day workshop-cum-training programme on “stress and health with lifestyle management” for its staff and others at its conference hall here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, HPDCAPL chairman-cum-managing director Toko Onuj emphasized the need of daily exercise and maintaining good habits to stay fit and fine with healthy body and sound mind.

He underscored the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle especially, in the high-pressure environment of today’s corporate life.

New Delhi based Sampoorna Health Education & Research Society president Dr. Vishal Gaur conducted the workshop as resource person. He explained how chronic stress could lead to various health issues, including cardiovascular diseases, weakened immune function and mental health disorders. He stressed on practical strategies which included mindfulness techniques, diet management skills for managing stress and the importance of maintaining a healthy balanced work-life.

Around 70 officials and a team from Atvi Infotainment Pvt. Ltd in Guwahati attended the workshop.
