Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha are set to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall starting Tuesday, as predicted by the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar. A yellow warning has been issued for 18 districts including Bhadrak, Balasore, and Mayurbhanj, valid for Tuesday. No rainfall is expected today, but downpours are likely to increase from 14 August.

The regional weather office has issued yellow warning for heavy rainfall for 18 districts- Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Subarnapur, Bolangir, Nuapda, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur and Koraput. The warning is valid for Tuesday.

While there is no alert for rainfall today, the downpours are likely to increase on 14 August, the MeT office predicted.
