Fine jewellery brand Giva has opened an exclusive brand outlet on Kolkata’s bustling Park Street to retail its selection of modern style silver and gold jewellery. The store launch brings the brand’s East India brick-and-mortar store total to seven as it focuses on establishing a presence in the region.

“In five short years, we’ve served over two million happy customers and are thrilled to announce the expansion of our stores to Kolkata, the city of joy,” said Giva’s co-founder Ishendra Agarwal in a press release. “We’re especially excited to bring our products to a city known for its vibrant culture and love of fashion. We can’t wait to add joy to the lives of our customers here.”
The store was inaugurated in the presence of celebrity couple Nusarat Jahan and Yash Dasgupta along with Giva’s co-founder Nikita Prasad. The store houses jewellery for men, women, and children, designed to blend Indian tradition with modern aesthetics.
Entrepreneurs Ishendra Agarwal, Nikita Prasad, and Sachin Shetty launched Giva in 2019 with the aim of disrupting the Indian fine jewellery market. The brand first established itself online then forayed into brick-and-mortar retail in 2022 while also expanding its reach through multi-brand e-commerce platforms including Myntra and Amazon India.
Today, Giva counts over 100 stores in India and has also opened its first store in Sri Lanka. The brand also recently expanded its product offering to feature gold and lab grown diamonds.
