FTI Arunachal Pradesh Hosts Convocation Ceremony For 9th Batch Of “A Short Trip To Cinema” Course

Itanagar, Aug 2: The convocation ceremony for the 9th batch of the “A Short Trip to Cinema” short course was held on August 2, 2024, at the Class Room Theatre of the temporary campus of the Film and Television Institute (FTI), Arunachal Pradesh.

The 10-week course, which began on May 27, 2024, saw 24 students from various states across India participate. The valedictory session was graced by Chief Guest Nyali Ete, Secretary, IPR, Arunachal Pradesh, along with other dignitaries including Onyok Pertin, Director, IPR, Arunachal Pradesh, and local filmmaker Tarro Antoni.

In his valedictory speech, Nyali Ete encouraged the students to keep Arunachal Pradesh in their minds and explore opportunities in the state in the future. The ceremony marked the successful completion of the course, and the students are now ready to embark on their cinematic journeys.
