flybig, one of India’s regional airlines, has expanded its domestic network with the introduction of 12th route connecting Moradabad and Lucknow.
This route under UDAN scheme was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Dharmpal Singh along with Minister of State for Agriculture Baldev Singh Aulakh.

The airline will operate thrice weekly flights between the two cities on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The airline might consider increasing the frequency depending on the demand.
Stressing flybig’s dedication to provide accessible and affordable air travel option to underserved and unserved airports, the founder and CMD of flybig, Saanjay Mandavia said: “The introduction of flights between Moradabad and Lucknow will benefit business travellers, tourists, and local residents, facilitating seamless regional connectivity.”
flybig recently launched scheduled services from Lucknow to four domestic destinations — Azamgarh, Aligarh, Chitrakoot, and Shravasti, thus expanding Uttar Pradesh’s regional connectivity.
The new services aim to establish direct connectivity while offering passengers enhanced accessibility and cost-effective travel options with starting fares as low as Rs 999.
Going ahead, flybig is planning major route expansion by connecting more Tier II and Tier III cities to support regional economic growth and development.
flybig recently inked an agreement with the Airports Authority of India and the Union Territory Administration of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to commence commercial flights connecting Port Blair, Car Nicobar, and Campbell Bay.
flybig, headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana began operations in December 2020 and is mostly focussed on connecting Tier II cities within India. The airline currently operates in north and northwest regions of India.
Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik, commonly known as UDAN-RCS is government of India’s pet project to make air travel more accessible by connecting remote corners of India to metros and Tier II cities thus enhancing the overall economic development of the country.
