Fast fashion brand Powerlook expands footprint in Central India

1

Fast fashion brand Powerlook is opening a new flagship store in Indore’s Phoenix Citadel Mall as it expands its presence in Central India.

This is the brand’s eighth outlet in the market.

Powerlook is also expanding with stores in Hyderabad, Chennai, Surat, Vadodara, and Bengaluru, all set to launch in March of next year.

According to the brand, the launch is part of its plan to expand to tier 2 cities due to growing consumer demand for its collections that combine functionality and fashion.

Earlier this year, Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries was reportedly in preliminary talks to bring Irish fast-fashion retailer Primark into India. Should a deal be reached, Primark would likely enter the market through a joint venture or licensing agreement.

The brand will benefit from direct access to the Indian consumer base while leveraging Reliance’s retail presence and operational synergies.
