Facility for New Registration for Admission to Medical courses in Karnataka

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has invited applications online for admissions to Medical and Dental and AYUSH courses for the year 2024-25.

Those who have scored more than or equal to the prescribed minimum score in UG NEET-2024 only are eligible to register and apply online for UG Medical and Dental and Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy degree courses for the year 2024-25. SC/ST/OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to Karnataka SC/ST/OBC candidates only.

Those who have not registered for UGCET-2024 but have qualified in NEET-2024 have to submit application online and pay the fees to become eligible for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses by selecting ‘UG NEET-2024 new registration’ link in the KEA portal from 11.00 am on 07-08-2024 to 11.59 pm on 09-08-2024.

Before registering online for admission to Medical and Dental courses in the state of Karnataka, applicants may read the Information Bulletin NEET-2024 and understand the eligibility conditions, classification of seats (different types of category of seats) and eligibility to claim such seats, which are hosted on the KEA Website for the information of the candidates.

Non-Karnataka candidates who have qualified in NEET 2024, have to first register online in KEA Web-portal (if not registered earlier in KEA), enter all the details, and pay the registration fee. Further they have to enter the 12^th standard marks details and upload in PDF format in the same web portal. They need not appear for verification of documents. However, OCI / PIO / NRI / Foreign Nationals and if any non-Karnataka candidates eligible to claim NRI Ward, Religious Minority or eligible to claim under category-2 to category-8 in St. John Medical College, Bangalore, then they have to appear for verification of documents at KEA, Bangalore on the specified dates.
