From September 1 to December 31, the double-decker A380 will conduct three weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Mumbai, according to Etihad.
The airline emphasised that its relationship with India has grown stronger since the inaugural flight to Mumbai on September 26, 2004.
“To mark our 20 years of service to Mumbai and India, we are introducing the A380 on the Mumbai route,” said Arik De of Etihad Airways. “Although this iconic aircraft is typically reserved for long-haul journeys, we will feature it on this route three days a week for a four-month celebration of our two decades of flying to India.”
