New Delhi: The University of Delhi will close the DU undergraduate programme admission 2024 preference-filling process for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2024 phase 2 today, August 9. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their UG programmes and college preferences by visiting the official DU UG admission 2024 website, ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
DU’s CSAS process for UG admission will be conducted in a total of three phases- submission of application form, selection of programme and preferences filling, and allocation of seats and admission.
DU’s official release reads, “Preferences saved by the candidates will determine the allocation and admission of the candidates. It is advisable to choose a maximum number of preferences in which a candidate is willing to take admission if offered. Addition, deletion, editing of the programmes and the Colleges after the deadline for Phase 2 will not be allowed”.
Webinar to be hosted at 3 PM
To assist candidates in understanding the trial and admission processes for ECA and sports supernumerary quotas, a webinar will be held today at 3 PM. This webinar will be streamed live on DU’s official YouTube channel- “UnivofDelhi”.
The trials for performance-based programmes like Bachelor of Arts (BA-Honours) in Music, Bachelor of Fine Arts, and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physical Education, Health Education, Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) and sports supernumerary quotas will commence on August 12, 2024.
The allocations for these performance-based programmes and various supernumerary quotas, such as CW (Children, Widows of Armed Forces Personnel), ECA, sports, PMSSS, Sikkim Nominee, and University of Delhi Ward quota, will be included in the DU UG admission round 3 seat allocations.
