Over 3000 students of Vels Vidyashram Senior Secondary School in Pallavaram, Chennai, today successfully created reusable utility bags from paper and old clothes.

Chennai: In a remarkable display of creativity and environmental consciousness, students of Vels Vidyashram Senior Secondary School in Pallavaram, Chennai, have successfully created 3000 reusable utility bags from paper and old clothes. This achievement has set a new record, with the school aiming to enter the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records.

The initiative, held at the school’s premises on Darga Road, was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including C Mageshwari, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police, Tambaram City, and Samay Singh Meena, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Tambaram City. Their presence underscored the importance of the initiative and the school’s commitment to sustainable practices.
