Several areas of Chennai to witness long power cuts.
Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has announced a power cut in Chennai on Wednesday, August 21 and the affecting areas including Adyar, Hastinapuram, Madipakkam, Ampathur, Athipattu, and Sothuperumpedu from 9 am to 2 pm due to maintenance work.
Accordingly the following in Chennai will power shutdown today,
Adyar: 4th Main Road Gandhi Nagar, 2nd and 3rd Crescent Park Road, Part of 3rd Main Road
Hastinapuram : R.P. Part of road, Annasalai, Gayatri Nagar, Velmurugan Nagar, Vinobaji Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Bhubaneswari Nagar, Bhasyam Nagar, Manickam Nagar, P.P.R. Street.
Madipakkam : Sheela Nagar, Mother Teresa Nagar, Sathasivam Nagar, Govindasamy Nagar, Rajaji Nagar, Ram Nagar (S), Kuberan Nagar, Mahalakshmi Nagar, Ram Nagar (N), Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bhajani Koil Street, Periyar Nagar, Kulakarai Street, Anna Nagar, Rajalakshmi Nagar.
Ambattur: SIDCO Industrial estate, EB road 1st street, Appasamy road, 9th and 10th street of KU phase, 7th and 8th street of Dass estate, Mahatma Gandhi road, 6th to 9th street of North phase.
North Athipattu: Juwari Cements, Adani Container Terminal Limited, North Chennai Level 4 B.H.E.L. Site, Indian Oil LNG Ltd., L&T Ship Building, North Chennai Level 1 Sub Station.
Sothuperumpedu: Nelkurunram, a part of Sothuperumpedu, Sekancherry, Attapalayam, Kanniyam palayam, Pasuvan palayam, Njayiru village, Mafushkanpet.
