The Gujarati Sahitya Parishad hosted ‘Sheelbhadra Saraswat’, an event celebrating the 117th birth anniversary of Gujarati novelist Balabhai Virchand Desai, also known by his pen name ‘Jaybhikhkhu’. Critic Kumarpal Desai recounted stories of Jaybhikhkhu’s life, furthermore the writer’s novel and short story concepts were also explored. Poet Manish Pathak ‘Shwet’ moderated the event that also had Ramesh Tanna and Sandhya Bhatt talking about Jaybhikhkhu’s works.
