Beat contest for High School & Hr Sec School students in Nagaland

The Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland in association with Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) is presenting “Battle of the Bands” (Beat contest for High School/Higher Secondary School Students) of Nagaland on September 27 at RCEMPA, Jotsoma near Kohima.
The winner will get a cash prize of ₹1 lakh while the 2nd and 3rd place will receive ₹50,000 and ₹30,000 respectively. There will also be five consolation prizes at ₹10,000 each. Only school bands from Nagaland are eligible to participate.
Audition Round
Bands have been requested to upload a short performance/practice video on their personal or band Instagram page and tag @tafmanagaland with #YRSBC24, phone number, name of band, name of school and district, on or before August 25. A panel of judges will select 8 bands for the live performance round to be held at RCEMPA, Jotsoma on September 27.
Second Round
8 selected bands will perform on September 27 at RECEMPA, Jotsoma starting 10:00 AM and 5 bands will be selected for the finals. All bands are to perform 2 songs of their choice (cover/original).
Final Round
Final round will be held on 27th September at RCEMPA, Jotsoma from 3:00 PM onwards. The final round will feature the 5 finalists. Bands are to perform 2 songs of their choice (cover/original).
