Shillong, Aug 4: In a dazzling display of grace and glamour, the prestigious Miss Meghalaya and Miss Teen Meghalaya 2024 grand finale concluded on Saturday evening at Shillong’s Lariti auditorium.
Out of 22 overall contestants from all across the state, Bahun Nongrum emerged victorious, claiming the coveted title of Miss Meghalaya 2024. She wowed the judges and onlookers with her charm, intelligence, and impeccable style, with her captivating answer to her take on Meghalaya Tourism.
The title of first runner-up was awarded to Chaivalry Tariang, while Lily Kharthangmaw was crowned as the second runner-up.

Meanwhile, Fortunate Mika Dkhar, was crowned Miss Teen Meghalaya 2024. Out of 19 contestants Fortunate’s youthful beauty and smartness captured the hearts of the judges and the audience alike.
Palei Mynsiem Chyne secured the title of first runner-up, while Nikita Nongrum proudly claimed the second runner-up position.
Winner of the Miss Meghalaya Crown was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh and winner of Miss Teen took home Rs. 25,000.
Other talented young teens were also awarded subtitles like Miss Personality, Miss Congeniality, Miss Catwalk, and Miss Beautiful Smile etc.
The winner of Miss Meghalaya has also secured a direct entry to Miss Universe India 2024 represting Meghalaya, while the first and first runners-up will represent Meghalaya in Miss Northeast 2024.
