The Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Nandyala district near Srisailam includes paintings of 12 Jyotirlingas in India on the temple wall. These are very well depicted in a manner that attracts all the devotees. These figures are well drawn by artists with colour.

The Jyotirlingas are present in different regions in our country. The artists Jagdish and Dinesh say one can visit 12 Jyotirlingas in Srisailam. They told Local 18 they are from Hyderabad and painting these images on the walls gave them immense happiness.

They said that with the help of their teacher, they have installed the idols in many places. It is said that there are different types of idols like Shivalingas and Trishul in many places in Srisailam.

SR is known as a very famous artist. So they continued their studies and attended the course under Guru Satyanarayana.

He said that drawing different types of figures is self-gratification. He told Local18 that this happiness cannot be achieved by giving a few lakhs. He also shared that making toys like this sharpens their art.

“There are many courses that do not bring happiness to the mind. The desire to make such toys brought him here since my childhood”. Both Jagdish and Dinesh say that they are happy when they do what they want.

The history of this temple dates back to a time when Goddess Parvati asked Lord Shiva to name his most cherished place in the Universe, apart from Kailasa, he chose the breathtakingly beautiful Srisailam, the embodiment of Sri Chakra, nestled in picturesque nature. In this sacred location, Shiva and Shakti manifest as Sri Mallikarjuna and Bhramaramba to bless their devotees.

Throughout different ages, many divine and illustrious figures have visited Srisailam to receive blessings, including Narasimhaswamy in Satya Yuga, Sri Rama and Sita Devi in Treta Yuga, the five Pandavas in Dvapara Yuga, and numerous yogis, rishis, munis, preachers, spiritual teachers, kings, poets, and devotees in Kali Yuga.
