Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress Celebrates Indian Youth Congress Foundation Day With Tree Plantation Drive And State Executive Meeting
Itanagar, Aug 9: The Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress observed the Indian Youth Congress Foundation Day with a mass tree plantation drive at Govt. M.E School, Niti Vihar, Itanagar, in the presence of Smruti Ranjan Lenka, General Secretary, IYC, and Shri Tarh Johny, State President, APYC.
The event was part of a nationwide plantation drive themed “Planting Hope, Nurturing Change & Empowering Youth” organized by the Indian Youth Congress to commemorate its foundation day.
On the sidelines of the celebration, the Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress conducted its State Executive Meeting at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, Itanagar, which was attended by Nabam Tuki, President, APCC, and Former Chief Minister, along with other senior Congress leaders.
During the meeting, dedicated youth workers were elevated to higher posts, and some youths from other political parties joined the Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress. The PCC President advised the youths to remain steadfast and serve the party diligently, while Smruti Ranjan Lenka exhorted youth workers to deliver sincerity, dedication, and energy towards the party.
