Arunachal Pradesh Partners With IIM Shillong To Strengthen Grassroots Leadership
Itanagar, August 2 – In a significant move to enhance leadership and management capabilities at the grassroots level, the Arunachal Pradesh government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong.
The partnership aims to focus on training, supporting, and empowering Panchayat representatives to achieve Local Sustainable Development Goals (LSDGs) in each village, as outlined in the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA).
This capacity-building initiative seeks to foster improved leadership and management capacity at the grassroots level, enabling Panchayat representatives to drive sustainable development and growth in their respective villages.
IIM Shillong will bring its expertise in management and leadership development to the partnership, providing training and support to Panchayat representatives to enhance their skills and capabilities.
