Akasa Air is set to expand its network by launching services to Kuwait on August 23. This new route will become the airline’s fifth international destination, coinciding with its upcoming two-year anniversary next month.

Daily Direct Flight Announcement

The airline will operate a daily direct flight between Kuwait City and Mumbai, as announced in a press release on Monday. This addition is expected to significantly boost passenger and cargo capacity on this route, catering to the constant demand for VFR (Visiting Friends and Relatives) and business travel between India and Kuwait.

As Akasa Air approaches its second anniversary on August 7, 2022, it already serves four overseas destinations—Doha (Qatar), Jeddah, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and Abu Dhabi (UAE)—along with 22 domestic cities. The new Kuwait route reflects the airline’s commitment to expanding its international footprint and enhancing connectivity for its passengers.
