The Gujarat State Badminton Championships 2024, Ahmedabad concluded on a high note, showcasing performances from young talents. The event, held from August 6-11, saw fierce competition. Players from Ahmedabad won multiple medals in various categories. Oorja Patel from Ahmedabad claimed victory in Girls’ Singles Under-15 and the Mixed Doubles Under-15, partnering with Mudit Jain. Parth Puri of Ahmedabad clinched titles in the Boys’ Singles Under-17 and the Boys’ Doubles Under-15, teaming up with Rudra Chauhan of Mehsana. Mohammad Ali Mir from Mehsana also joined the elite group, winning the Boys’ Doubles Under-17 alongside Urv Patel of Ahmedabad and the Mixed Doubles Under-17 with Gandhinagar’s Tanishka Nair. Tanish Choksi of Surat triumphed in the Boys’ Singles Under-15, defeating Zionzuriel Rodricks. The Girls’ Doubles Under-15 title was secured by Sanskriti Jain of Ahmedabad and Siona Gala.
